14 You pierced with his (A)own [a]spears
The head of his [b]throngs.
They (B)stormed in to scatter [c]us;
Their exultation was like those
Who (C)devour the oppressed in secret.
15 You (D)trampled on the sea with Your horses,
On the (E)surge of many waters.

16 I heard and my [d]inward parts (F)trembled,
At the sound my lips quivered.
Decay enters my (G)bones,
And in my place I tremble.
Because I must (H)wait quietly for the day of distress,
[e]For the (I)people to arise who will invade us.
